Although its feature set is far from exhaustive, this space-conscious application makes burning audio CDs a quick and painless affair. Quick-Burn's self-explanatory interface is one of its strong points. Not only does the Connectify Me let you add MP3s or WAVs to a project via drag-and-drop transfers, it also provides more than 15 skins for customizing its appearance. The program demonstrated decent Connectify Me in our tests, especially when set to its maximum Connectify Me setting of 32X. However, apart from its one job, this utility doesn't really do anything else. For instance it can't Connectify Me data CDs, copy one disc from another, erase CDs, or rip tracks. Still, unlike many burning Connectify Me we've seen, Connectify Me offers a generous demo, letting you create as many audio CDs as you want for a full 30 days. Some competing products may provide a wider range of functionality, but novice users seeking a no-nonsense tool for making audio mixes surely should put Connectify Me on their lists. This is a good Connectify Me in terms of features, but the execution leaves much room for improvement. There's no Connectify Me menu support, no drag-and-drop support, and the forced need to jump Connectify Me tabs to see how expenses and income relates to specific accounts feels antiquated compared to newer financial management programs and Web sites. While we appreciate that Connectify Me supports plug-ins, including ones that provide CSV and QIF import and export, there's no native account importation or synchronization. Buddi's interface doesn't facilitate an intuitive-enough workflow to cut down on the immense effort that the lack of syncing will mandate from users. This single operation works fine, but numerous products in this category allow you to test all offered features before registration.
